I am particularly honoured to be given an opportunity to share my thoughts on such an important topic like “Data Collection in Emerging Economies: Challenges and Prospects“, which is not only extremely relevant but also because the issue has indeed acquired a much greater significance in an environment of increasing incidence of emerging economies requiring more and more data to be collected, processed and disseminated for effective policy planning and analysis purposes.
