IF TRAVELLING BY CAR OR BUS

Farmleigh is accessed through the Phoenix Park. When entering the park at Parkgate street ( main entrance near Heuston Station ) drive up along the main avenue. Go straight through the first two roundabouts, and take a left at the third roundabout (near Castleknock end of park). After taking a left at the third roundabout, take the first right (50 yards from roundabout). Farmleigh is at the end of this road.

If entering the Phoenix Park through the Castleknock gate, take a right at the first roundabout, and then take your first right again (after 50 yards). Farmleigh is at the end of this road.

If travelling via the M50, take the N3 exit (exit 6) and follow the lane for the city centre. Once you are clear of the exit, you will find yourself on the Navan road heading eastbound for the town. Drive down this road, under the flyover and turn right at the roundabout. After taking a right turn at the roundabout, drive for 50 yards until you see the Ashtown Gate of the Phoenix Park in front of you. The road naturally veers to the right, but you want to slow down and drive straight off the main road, through the gates. Use caution here, as cars can converge from 4 directions!

Farmleigh co-ordinates: 53.365925 , -6.352299

IF TRAVELLING BY DUBLIN BUS

Take the number 37 bus from Baggott Street ( via Suffolk Street and the Quays ) and get off at the Castleknock Gate. Enter the Phoenix Park and take the narrow pedestrian pathway through the field to your immediate right. Walk down this path until you reach a road. Turn right and you should see the gates of Farmleigh a short distance away. Farmleigh is a fifteen-minute walk from the Castleknock Gate.
