“India Day” in Ireland was conceived and organised by the Ireland India Council in a collaborative partnership with OPW, An Garda Síochána, Civic Bodies, and Indian agencies. Each year we celebrate it at Farmleigh House and Estate from 2015.”India Day” trade/domain/business names are duly registered for Ireland India Council, and the Council has all exclusive rights. We recently learned that our pictures were copied from our website and used by specific individuals/entities to misrepresent the facts and gain legitimacy from our work from the public representatives and Irish authorities. Any unauthorised use of our photos of our previous events and such misrepresentations is a criminal and civil breach. It features an array of spectacular Indian and Irish songs, classical & Bollywood dance, music, and cultural presentations, including fashion shows and a craft market. India Day creates awareness among participants about the rich Irish and Indian culture, values and traditions and celebrates Freedom and Irish Indian Friendship.

Members of the Ireland-India Parliamentary Friendship Group, statesmen Dr Karan Singh, Dr Shesadri Chari and dignitaries and celebrities came forward to celebrate freedom and Irish-Indian friendship during India Day celebrations in Ireland.
